Is RCS accredited?
Yes!  We are proud of the fact that Rockledge Christian School has been an accredited K - 8th grade school for twenty years with the
Florida League of Christian School (FLOCS), accredited with SACS-CASI and is an active member with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

What curriculum does RCS use?
At its foundation, Rockledge Christian School uses the highly respected ABEKA curriculum.  Courses are taught from an Evangelical Protestant perspective.  In addition, combinations of Bob Jones, Addison Wesley, and ACSI curriculums are used to supplement some elementary and middle school grades.  Stanford Achievement and Otis Lennon Ability tests are given annually to insure a quality education of the highest standard

How do RCS students perform academically?
Past Stanford Achievement tests (SAT) have indicated that RCS test scores have been consistently well above the national average.  The average RCS student is shown to be performing academically at one or more grade levels above his/her actual grade

What student and extra curricular activities are available?
Students at RCS have the opportunity to participate in a number of student activities including:  Spelling Bees, Math Olympics, Science Fair, Band, and National Junior Honor Society.  Some of the sports our students have participated in are volleyball, basketball, and flag football.

Do RCS students wear uniforms?
Yes.  RCS supports the emphasis of the Christian home in matters of modesty of dress and good grooming.  School uniforms are available from Sir Walter, Inc., located on Merritt Island.
