Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to get to know me as your child’s teacher.
I have taught VPK at Rockledge Christian School since 2005. I graduated from Lee University with a bachelor’s degree in music and a minor in Bible. During this time I participated in classical mass choir, “Lee Day”, Homecoming, Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis as well as regular recital performances. I was a section leader and Chaplin for a touring choir that traveled throughout the Central and Eastern parts of the U.S.
During, and after my time in college I worked with children in several venues such as: childcare, vacation Bible school, drama and musical teams as well as youth groups. After some time aiding a preschool class I continued my education and received my CDA certificate for early childhood education and realized the joy of having a K4 class!
I truly enjoy watching a student discover, create and grow. The look on a student’s face each time they accomplish a new goal is a gift. I know that God has placed me in this position to impart knowledge and experiences to your child, and I’m so pleased to be a part of that process!
