Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Karen Sbano. I have been teaching at Rockledge Christian School since 1994. I have a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education and am certified with the Association of Christians Teachers and Schools (ACTS).
While at RCS I have been involved in different projects and events over the year. The main event I have been involved in, has been one of my passions. I have had the privilege to be the director of the Elementary Christmas Program since 1996. It's a joy to share musical plays that tell about the birth of Jesus and to tell about salvation, hopefully touching someone's heart to become closer with the Lord. It has been one of the highlights of the school year for parents, students, and teachers. I have many memories of yesteryear and will continue to make new memories.
I am married to the most wonderful husband in the world, Nick Sbano. I have two great children, Stacey and Nicholas, who is married to Charlene. They have given us two beautiful granddaughters, Mia and Lilli. Our lives have been filled with many years of full time ministry in serving this school and churches.
My favorite things to do are: Have fun, because, life is too short; spend time with friends, travel, cook, eat anything chocolate, shopping, sitting by the fireplace drinking a cup of coffee, and of course, singing and playing the piano, when I get the chance to do it, and most of all worship the Lord.
My great desire: To have my students not only to excel academically, but come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and live for Him daily.
